I found your blog on pinterest recently and amy using it in my classroom. I liked this video. I lived in Mexico years ago and forgot about this cultural difference. I have now added to my objectives for students «I can receive a compliment.»
Yes, I was very unsatisfied with the quality of the video, so I deleted it myself. I need to make a new one, but have not had the time to do so yet. The main ideas of the video were (1) to learn the phrase «muy amable» instead of always responding with «gracias» and (2) to invite students to explore other responses to compliments.
