- Duolingo Free online Spanish learning program. I have used this program to work on other languages, specifically Portuguese and French. While this program is not communicative, it is a great resource to use in addition to other communicative strategies. Duolingo is also effective at keeping you motivated and consistently practicing the language. I find it really fun too!
- Duolingo Podcast «Fascinating stories in easy-to-understand Spanish.» Listen on any of your favorite podcast platforms! (Google Play Music, Apply Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, iHeart Radio). The typed transcripts are available on the Duolingo Podcast website.
- Radio Ambulante Podcast «Radio Ambulante es un podcast narrativo que cuenta las historias de Latinoamérica en español.» This is absolutely one of my favorite podcasts to listen to & enjoy in my free time, and the website also provides resources for using podcast episodes in the classroom!

- Spanish Playground YouTube Channel – Comprehensible, fun, and relevant conversations with amazing quality video!
- Easy Spanish Youtube Channel Interesting street-style interviews in various cities of the Spanish-speaking world. Each video based on a particular topic. Subtitles in Spanish and English.
- Authentic Spanish Language and Pedagogy A collection of videos of native Spanish speakers telling personal stories. Each video has a transcription with key elements highlighted and/or defined. Categorized by level.
- Basho & Friends Youtube Channel: Catchy, fun songs for learning Spanish.
- Garabato A HUGE collection of children’s literature in Spanish in a variety of formats: children’s stories in many formats (text, audio, video, pictograms, images), fables, plays, poems, riddles, tongue-twisters, and more!

Note: I find most of these scholarships using unigo.com under the category «Company-sponsored scholarships.» That is a good search method to find scholarships that are open to all students.
- MoneySolver Scholarships: A variety of scholarships that any student over the age of 18 can apply for. Many are holiday themed (Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Years, etc.) and due around the dates of those holidays. Most award amounts are $1000.
- Whitley Law Firm Opioid Crisis Scholarship – $1500 awarded annually for winning essay about opioid addiction. Next deadline: October 31, 2019.
