I’m hosting the Spanish conversation table at my new university (exciting!) and made these cards for newcomers who might feel nervous to strike up a conversation.

Hola Sara! Muy buena tu tarjeta! I just found it and I will use it to share it with beginners students… Do you think it is possible to recreate the dinamic of a conversation table throw an online meeting with multiple parties? How is the dinamic in your conversation tables?
I´m developing a Spanish teaching online academy and I would love the feedback!

Thanks for your comment, Niko! I have not tried online Spanish conversation tables yet, but I am currently working on a plan now that all of my classes have switched to online! To start, I will provide a bit more structure than in the face to face format. I will try screen sharing so that I can display interesting conversation starters. I’m also brainstorming about games that will work well. (For example, Jeopardy from Super Teacher Tools). Good luck with the online academy! Do you have a blog as well? I’d love to check it out.
