Update! I just found this video on Youtube that shows another brilliant way to use this song in class! Posted by Youtube username Connor Nebesky, it seems that students have illustrated each line in the song. ¡Me encanta!

I love using this song! It is the start to my unit about Miedos y Leyendas ( http://cultyciv.blogspot.com/2014/01/los-miedos-y-las-leyendas.html ). Also, that student-made video was from my class! So funny, I had forgotten about it! Just added to to my blog to show current students.

Qué buena canción y actividades! Además de las hojas de actividades incluidas, usé el video como repaso de vocabulario de la niñez. También, interpretamos las acciones típicas entre padres/hijos dentro de las contradicciones: Espérame, Aléjate de mi, y Déjame caerme. Les enseño a muchos seniors y comprenden muy bien la idea de «Déjame salir» y «No quiero salir». Por ejemplo, en su prueba, les pregunté, «Cuál es un ejemplo de una vez que tus padres te han permitido «caer»?
